Undō drew the pictures of 25 florist chrysanthemum varieties (Chrysanthemum grandiflorum) that were included in a woodblock-printed picture album entitled Kiku Meiji Sen (Chrysanthemums Meiji Selection). It was compiled by Kenkaku Imai and published in 1891. Undō drew his picture subjects accurately, similar to European botanical drawings, which was the prevailing style used by Japanese artists at that time. Click on a picture to see a larger version.
